Aspire Homes and Renovations is a local Perth builder specialising in custom homes and renovations. With over 20 years experience, our knowledge is vast and we aim to innovate and push boundaries within the building and construction industry to create new and one-off homes for our customers.
At the beginning of 2022, Michael Sharp of Aspire Homes & Richard Burlinson of Burlinson Construction had joined forces. It’s a big move with the merger delivering more resources and flexibility to allow our two successful building businesses to continue thriving as one by growing the team to provide clients with the highest quality and building standards with a strong focus on supporting customers to deliver their projects on-time and on-budget.
We pride ourselves on customer service; with the majority of our work coming from customer recommendations, determining what our customers need and delivering what they want is our main objective.
Our trades and services have decades of experience and they share our vision of putting the client first while ensuring safety and environmental policies are adhered to.

Michael Sharp
Director
With over 20+ years in the industry and a background in carpentry, Michael is an experienced builder who is passionate about what he does, whether that be a small renovation to a large new build.
Michael thrives on customer service and providing the highest quality of workmanship to exceed beyond clients’ expectations. Winning back-to-back Excellence in Service awards, Best Contract Home, 2x Best Alterations & Additions and Best New Builder is a testament to the service you will receive from Michael Sharp.
A family man at heart, you’ll find Michael spending most weekends with his family at the beach, cheering his kids on at their junior sports or catching a game, especially anything footy or cricket.
Richard Burlinson
Director
With a trade in plumbing under his belt, Richard started his own plumbing business at 22. He continued studying to become a registered builder and started his building business at 28. He has been in the construction industry for over 18 years.
Richard spends most of his time in the office, working to meet deadlines, manage and quote projects, and overall ensure the business runs smoothly. Richard is knowledgeable in every stage of the building process and strives to deliver results on time and on budget.
Loved up in the new-born bubble, Richard and his fiancé recently welcomed a little boy! He spends his spare time training for triathlons or messing about with his best friend Kona, his Labrador.
Pete Denman
Supervisor
Pete is one of our Site Supervisors and comes to Aspire Homes with over 13 years experience in working in demolition and manual labour. Pete prides himself of getting the job done right.
Pete has worked with several boutique builders in the past, including our director, Michael and has recently rejoined Michael out on site to help make sure everything is on track and running smoothly.
This proud dad of two is a man of many skills - Pete is a butcher by trade. He tells us his favourite cut of meat is a Scotch Fillet. Pete loves relaxing on the weekend watching sport and cooking. He's our chippy by day - chef by night
Maddie Crilley
Client Liaison / Pre-Start Consultant
Having worked in all different departments of customer service and finding passion in working with people to achieve their dream homes, Maddie has been in the industry for 5 years.
She studied a Bachelor in Interior Architecture that led her to working with various small design firms before stepping into the role of client liaison at Aspire Homes, where she is responsible for customer service, administration, social media and ordering materials. Maddie is a welcoming and familiar point of contact for all clients and suppliers of Aspire Homes.
A love for travel, crafts, boardgames and her family, you’ll either find Maddie down at the beach with her family or out on a coffee date with friends.
Lauren Anderson
Interior Designer / Client Liaison
Having left her career as a Primary school teacher looking something more creative, Lauren studied her Diploma of Interior Design with two small children at her feet. She launched her own design studio in 2017 until recently making the decision to shut its doors.
She joins Aspire homes in her role as Interior Designer and Client Liaison. She is passionate about transforming houses into homes and advocates for homes that support wellbeing.
Lauren is a self-confessed water baby, she spends her spare time at the beach or in the pool with her family. She enjoys travelling up and down the coast of WA and taking photos.
Greg Mucci
Deliveries
Coming from 29 years in the financial department at Western Power, Greg has entered the building industry only recently as Aspire Homes’ head of deliveries.
Greg, aka Mucci, provides the team with not only belly laughs but an all-rounder attitude to help out wherever and however he is needed. From deliveries, keeping sites tidy, to landscaping, he’ll do it all!
He’s the first in the office and first to get home and crack open a beer! Mucci has brought a sense of fresh air into the business.
